Institutions and Organisms linked to the Master’s through the research stays.
Student Mobility
Student mobility is understood as the stays performed by the students of the Mora Institute’s programs in other national and international higher education institutions, in order to enhance their perspectives on their field of study and their integral training with post-grade courses, field works, counseling in the processes of research and writing of dissertations.
External mobility is an activity in which Mora Institute’s students can take part as visiting students in other international and national colleges. Conversely, students of these institutions may attend our Institute to pursue part of their training. Moreover, internal mobility enables Mora’s students to study other courses different from those in the current curriculum they registered for.
All along its history, the Master’s in Political Sociology has encouraged its students to undertake research stays both in national and international institutes. Consequently, the students can apply for mixed scholarships offered by CONACYT (National Council for Science and Technology) each year, as long as they fulfill the requirements established by the Master’s’ Direction. The program of mixed scholarships for post-grade students gives access for research stays in high-level foreign institutions. With these grants, Master’s students can afford totally or partially their maintenance fees, travel expenses, and medical insurance required for the duration of their stay abroad.
